This time on the road BooksWA takes a different spin on the regular BooksWA format and films the launch of author Neville Browning book The Westralian Battalion: The Unit History of the 44TH Battalion A.I.F. Held at Scotch College in Claremont, BooksWA presenter Belinda Cipriano interviews the family and friends of the soldiers who served in the 44th Battalion and many fascinating and heart wrenching stories are told of those who fought for our country.

Among some of the interviews featured on the show are special guest and speaker for the launch, newly elected leader of the Labor Party the Honorable Mr. Kim Beazley and author of the book Neville Browning. The Westralian Battalion is an excellent account of Australia’s war history and again is a must in all Australian households.
