Series Two starts off back at the friendly Mill Point Café Bookshop in South Perth. This week BooksWA speaks to author Heather Campbell about her book Messina News. Co-written with her now deceased husband Graham Henshaw, Heather recalls their journey around Australia aboard their Fremantle Cray boat Messina.

Fittingly titled Messina News, the book contains journals and letters written to family members about their trials and tribulations encountered along their journey. An enthralling tale of courage and love as Heather and Graham fight the perils of Mother Nature as well as deal with an even bigger issue The BIG C.

An entertaining episode to kick off the first episode of the BooksWA series also included are the Readers’ Review and Handy Hints for Writers’ segments.
