The book written about the Swan River Colony back in 1829-1834 contains letters of settlers disheartened with what they found when arriving in Western Australia. Corresponding with friends and families back in England most letters ending up in the newspapers of the day. This episode provides viewers with important historical information in regards to the settlement of West Australia.
