CTV Perth is offering for university and postgraduate students an opportunity to undertake volunteer work experience in a range of areas relating to television production.

CTV Perth is a not-for profit television production service, producing TV programs for CH 31 community stations, Foxtel digital network and more.

We're offering students work experience in areas such as production, scriptwriting, presenting and editing. Students will obtain industry experience using digital (high definition) equipment.

If your courses have a work experience requirement, independent study unit, mentorship or professional placement as part of their structure, then this is a great opportunity for interested students to gain credit and experience in television production with an award winning team. So fare CTV Perth has attracted university students from all over the world, including Uganda, Kenya, United Kingdom, Germany, the Philippines, India, Malaysia and Canada.

CTV Perth has an ongoing relationship with the tertiary sector in WA. And students and postgraduates interested in undertaking volunteer positions or work experience studies should be confident that they will gain not only a vital reference that will enhance their CV and their job prospects, but also an experience integrated with their studies.

Students will be fully credited for their work in areas such as camera and sound, editing, script writing, research and presenting. Students also have the opportunity to be credited as production assistant or assistant director. Student who is interested can have the opportunity to work in business administration or marketing.

CTV has produced a variety of programs over more than 12 years, including many that have won awards, from ScreenWest, Community Broadcasting Association of Australia and Channel 31 Melbourne. Most recently our program, Gallery Watch has von an Antenna Award for BEST ART program.
